Rapofil-200 mg

Rapofil 200 mg contains modafinil. This medication is primarily used to promote wakefulness in adults experiencing excessive daytime sleepiness. This is used to treat Shift Work Sleep Disorder (SWSD), Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), and Narcolepsy. Modafinil is used as a wake-up support, not as a sleeping pill. MECHANISM OF ACTION 

Rapofil 200 mg binds dopamine transporters. This reduces reabsorption of dopamine and increases active levels in the brain. This medicine increases the levels of wakefulness-promoting chemicals like histamine and norepinephrine. It also stimulates orexin circuits, or hypocretin that manage the sleep-wake cycle and arousal naturally.

• Rapofil 200 mg may interact with guarana, kola nut, or high-dose green tea extract-based supplements.

Foods and drinks:

• It is advised not to take this medicine with coffee, energy drinks, tea, soda, or chocolate.
• It is advised to stop consuming alcohol while taking this medicine and during treatment.

PRECAUTIONS & WARNINGS
