Artvigil 250 mg is a medication that is used to treat excessive sleep disorders associated with Narcolepsy, Obstructive Sleep apnea and Shift Worker Sleep Disorder. The medication consists of Armodafinil as its active ingredient. It works by inhibiting the dopamine reuptake inhibitor which improves alertness and focus.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Investigation is still in progress to clarify the exact mechanism by which Artvigil 250 mg tablets operate. Armodafinil, a stimulant for the central nervous system (CNS), is the active ingredient in Artvigil tablets. This medication enhances both mental and physical abilities by stimulating brain activity. It mimics neurotransmitters that act in a manner similar to dopamine or adrenaline. The consumption of this medication promotes alertness or wakefulness by facilitating the release of chemical messengers that play a role in sleep regulation.
